I am just wondering if all of the bugs have been worked out of upgrading from win 7 to win 10. Will it be flawless or is it thwart with issues still? Since Chrome and Brave are no longer supporting Win 7, I am thinking that I should upgrade to be safe. Thoughts?

For the upgrade I would be using the MCT usb. (media creation tool) and using Win 10 home from Win 7 ultimate.

Hi

shouldn.t be a problem, to be on the safe side create a system back-up

note
using the MCT and the upgrade method, all your current personalisations and pgorams will be carried over
Ultimate will be moved to a PRO version

I still use Win 7 and I prefer it than Win 10.
The fact that Chrome and Brave are no longer supported on Win 7 isn't a reason to move to Win 10. You can still use Firefox.
As already recommended, make a drive image backup so you can restore Win 7 if things go bad or you don't like it.

Chrome (and all its clones) not supporting Windows 7 doesn't necesarily means that you won't be able to update those, most likely that they didn't care to test on Win7. Even if they don't really work anymore you can use the latest version of it for as long as you want, as long as websites continue to work (likely, for a reasonably long time).

Even the, you can use a better, non-Chrome browser instead and get "support" for some more time. Of course there will be a time when those will drop support too. No need to downgrade to Win10 just because of Google, yet.
