Solved Since thunder storm im am getting multiple BSOD all with 0x000000F4

Hi since a month now we here in Quebec had a hure thuinderstorm and since my computer is acting really strange, ive tested all my components, and contacted my Motherboard mnanifacturer and Processor manifacture, and exchanged both send back the old ones, and again i am getting these BS OS with F4 error.

Ive Ran multiple times MEMTEST86+ V4.2 and ran it all day long, passes 7 test and failed 0

keep in mind this is a pc i built for the boss of my compagny and is not for playing games but to surf the web, create invoice and sometimes opening plans in AutoCAD2012,

as soon i make the computer work a littlebit by multytasking the pc starts to freeze, then Iexplorer.exe crashes then i get a mem dump BSOD then computer restarts

at this point im about to contact the power suply and ram manufaturer and exchange those 2 components since my HDD and SSD seems fine

Hi Dimitry1986.

A stop 0xF4 is somehow storage device related error. Do some Disc checks.

1. Update your SSD's Firmware: https://downloadcenter.intel.com/Detail_Desc.aspx?DwnldID=18363
2. Re-seat the sata and power.
   
   
3. Run chkdsk /f/r, following the option two of the tutorial Disk Check
4. Seatool for dos: SeaTools | Seagate download
   Burn it in a blank cd. boot from the CD, click on "Accept", wait for it to finish detecting the drives, then in the upper left corner select "Basic Tests", then select "Long Test" and let it run.

Daemon Tools, Alcohol 120% and Power Archiver Pro uses SCSI Pass Through Direct (SPTD), which is a well known BSOD causer. Uninstall Daemon Tools at first. Then download SPTD standalone installer from Disk-Tools.com, and execute the downloaded file as guided below :

• Double click to open it.
• Click this button only:
• 
• If it is grayed out, as in the picture, there is no more SPTD in your system, and you just close the window.

Free up the startup. Windows does not need any other program to auto start with it, but the auto start programs often conflicts and causes various problems including BSODs.

1. Click on the Start button
2. Type “msconfig (without quotes), click the resulting link. It will open the System Configuration window.
3. Select the “Startup” tab.
4. Deselect all items other than the antivirus.
5. Apply > OK
6. Accept then restart.

Thank you arc, but not solving anything, my firmware for my SSD is up to date ... uninstalled Deamon tools and ive got no more SPTD's ive uncheked all my boot up software(2 of em haha) and still having the same BSOD... im trying to remove my SSD atm and installing Win7 pro x64 directly on my 2TB see if win7 can be more stable on that one...

any other solutions for me?

Dimitry, as you explained about the thunderstorm and hardware damage, it may not be a coincide. Thunderbolts may cause damages to electrical and electronic devices. Which I gave you earlier are some general steps ... which may not suffice for your case for sure.

But, if even the clean reinstall does not fix the issue, take the SeaTools test that you might have skipped.
