Simplix 22.1.12 is out but I cannot download. I downloaded UpdatePack7R2+.exe, so far its ok but when I click on the file it will download another file UpdatePack7R2-22.1.12.exe and it stops at 50% with an error message every time

Someone else got this problem?

The Dec 2021 file is there for download but @Enthousiast hasn't posted the Jan 22 file yet.
Unless he has uploaded the file and hasn't yet changed the page info.

If you are talking about 22.1.18, yes I allready know that. I use the Magnet link from simplix.info to download the file in qBbittorrent

To uninstall the telemetry, run cmd file to uninstall those KB files.
kb_spy.cmd.txt
Rename it as KB_Spy.cmd and run it.

Do all the updates listed in this CMD txt reside in Windows SP1 and if not installed separately will they actually be removed do you know? I will run the text anyway and see what it reports.

OR, more likely, does it remove packages that are installed by the Simplix update?

EDIT: Just looking at this dotNetFx48_20210117_x64.WA from GitHub. Is there a particular reason I would not run Windows Update and install from there? Or do I just use the GitHub latest -
dotNetFx48_20220107_x64.WA?
After running Simplix and the CMD text, this is what appears in WU afterwards from a manual scan:-

Important updates - I obviously need to update the drivers for the Zebra printer and the Nvidia Display. Do I also install the others listed as Important and the Defender file?



Optional:- Do I install the 19/03/2019 Quality Rollup?



And finally, here are my dotNET installeds which were on the image I recovered:-



Should I build a CMD file like the telemetry one to remove these or just leave them?

When Win 7 SP1 was released there was no spy and tracking. This came afterwords as a way of MS make money. They are mixed on those Rollups.

First screen, I would install all but:
- I would not install 2019-03
- I would not install update for Win 7 (KB3184143)
Don't I install the 19/03/2019 Quality Rollup

For the language packs, install the updates for the languages packs you had installed.

Framework 4.6 will be replaced with last framework 4.8 Just install 4.8.

Simplix delivers a new updated file every month.

Yes v5.0.13 is installed on my system thought the only program using it is Paint.net.

Got the install nice and tight but I cannot install Macrium Reflect 8 as I wanted to image the drive and save it out.

So far, I am unable to shrink volume down to close of size used on disk space because of where blocks have been written to SSD. Was hoping to create a small 30Gb clone partition for future restores. Any ideas?

Stand Alone security updates KB4474419 and KB4490628

EDIT: Just tried these and it say not applicable to this computer. Tried both x64 version and embedded standard x64!!!

The Simplix Pack should have installed KB4474419 and KB4490628 for you. If they aren't currently on your system and you have actually run the Pack then you will need to run the Pack again. Have a look in the Simplix Pack log file on your PC. You should find the log file at C:\Windows\UpdatePack7.log

The last entry in the log (at the bottom of the log) should say, "All the latest updates are already present in the system" and "Operation of the program has been successfully finished". If that isn't at the bottom of the log file you need to keep launching the Pack until those statements appear in the last entry (at the bottom of) the log.

I did try them manually to no avail. That’s when it said it’s not for this PC. Something to do with paid subscription perhaps?

4490628 was installed by the Simplix file on first install.

Have re-run but not checked as yet as to whether it has now corrected it.
