When I tried to write something in Microsoft Word 2010 the letters appeared to be chopped off at the top,ie, only threequarters of the letter shows. it has nothing to do with the size of the font or the font itsself. It worked properly the first time I wrote something.Any suggestions?

Many thanks for your reply Dwarf,but I have just found what the problem is.The spacing between paragraphs had got changed and there was not enough room at the top for all of the letters. As far as Notepad is concerned I have yet to fathom how it works.
