Skype couldn't open

What are some solutions for skype not being able to open in Windows 7? When I open Skype a window pops up and says "skype has stopped working", there's an option "check for solution" but it doesn't work either.

I've tried everything: uninstall and reinstall, I looked through the internet and tried everything people suggested like deleting share.xml file and some other files. It's no use.

Anyone can help? Thanks!

Find the .exe file that you use to open Skype. This could be in C:\Program Files\Phone or a shortcut on your Desktop. Right click the file and click on the Compatibility tab. Make sure nothing is checked and restart Skype.
