SlOW as H33l after factory reinstall HP laptop

MY SSD failed & tried going back to HDD but had to reinstall windows 7 home premium. Seemed slow right off the bat especially loading the many updates( 24 hrs+ on a 3mbs network) I have removed bloatware & adware that came loading Foxit PDF , defragged the hard drive (although I know 7 does this also ) Trouble shooting speed test gives good performance numbers but all keyboard requests take for ever without even loading a browser . Hard drive diagnostics test says all good . Can take almost a minute responding to Cntrl Alt Delete to look at activities - or stalls completely . Even shutting down normally can be 1 minute . I suspect Windows files are corrupted ?? What next please for a frustrated user?

Adding info I used a separate boot up disc I made & speed looks a lot better Now How do I fix info for start up onthe HDD?

Still struggling Now seems that the hard drive is sick ( mechanical slow seek etc ) Also found memory failed in one slot

Now trying to clone from HDD to SSD but the message I get says Cannot be done as disc is dynamic It has 4 partitions System , C dirve , Hp Recovery , & my files . Can I convert back to basic & get cloning done? Or should I do an install directly to the SSD using the iso file

Ok Dave try this program mate it is the best as far as I am concerned for cloning and you can get it from this tutorial which in itself is fabulous.

Now the slot is a worry and you could use my ditty to clean it and try again if you know which slot is playing up.
SLOT CLEANING
Now as for the slots to clean them use a strip of old credit card (or any card thin enough some are better than others ) about 1/2 inch wide nip the corners off one end - preferably round them off hold a piece of thin lint free cloth over the end dab on some form of alcohol - isopropyl alcohol (what we swab the skin with before an injection) is good and GENTLY swipe along the slots.
This can also be done for the GPU slot/s and also the contacts of the sticks or cards - not the stick but some lint free cloth of course. See my pic for the sick but please be very gentle doing it if you are in any doubt - please ask before doing it but I use this all the time and have yet to damage anything

Well Back in business used a downloaded ISO file & a partition only clone & got going on the SSD. Then found out I had no network controller - so had to download from Realtek &install All seems good now but machine is regularly showing low memory. New chips on therir way already . Thanks for suggestions & help
