Hi dbseven,

When did you slow boot times begin?

Did you install any new software or make any changes?

Here's two free programs that will help you determine what is loading and enable you to easily toggle them to not load at startup. Doesn't mean the programs won't work, they just don't impede the time interval of loading.

WinDirStat - Windows Directory Statistics or CCleaner

CCleaner is a simple double-click to disable/enable.

Check the programs you have loading at startup.
Process of trial and error here.
Peruse each and decide if it need to load at startup.

I have minimal programs loading at startup.
You can also optimize shutdown and boot with
UVK - Ultra Virus Killer

From start screen > System Repair > optimize boot and shutdown.
