If I leave my iPhone 4 connected to my PC (Windows 7 64 bit), it takes ages to shut down.

Does anyone have idea why & is there a way to get round it.

When a USB port is active, such as having your IPhone plugged-in and turned on, the system attempts to power down the port...it takes time. The 2 solutions that would work, unplug the IPhone or turn it off if you want to leave it plugged in.
