I use Puppy Linux in a limited way but the interface is very amateurish by comparison even though it is a very useful product.

Of course, in all fairness, puppy linux is intended to be a very small, ultra light-weight, compact OS. It's designed without lots of extra overhead on purpose.

I despise mac lovers. Ok a bit strong there but It annoys me. They say things like macs have better virus protection. That one really ticks me off. It's not any better then windows. It's security through scarcity. There's less mac users then windows users so of course people are making virus's for windows. Why not hit the majority?

That's not entirely true. While there are viruses and so forth in the MAC world, the design of the underlying OS (Darwin...from FreeBSD) was designed as a multi-user system since day 1 and they have been working on security since the very beginning. The thing with the underlying system is that even if something gets in, it often is contained within a very small area and cannot completely bring the whole system down.

I've heard this argument over the years with regards to Linux. And while you are right, the # of users would be smaller, but the noteriety of being the person that brought down a ton of Linux machines (often touted as unfalible) would bring quite a bit of attention.
