I've noticed in the past few days that two games i play which happen to run windowed/fullscreen both end up freezing but in an odd way. The visuals inside the window will freeze but audio continues and i can still click things blindly but i can't see my cursor in the window and clicking things only makes the corrosponding noise and nothing happens on screen.

Its really odd and i have no idea what could be causing it? Sorry if i didn't explain it very well.

Sorry to necro such an old thread but i think the issue is still persisting. Same symptoms when playing stepmania 5 the picture will freeze if i click out of the window or play for long enough while input and audio still runs. its like everything is still working but the visuals.

Very very strange, I have no idea what could be causing this.
