Some of my webpages are not loading fully.

My home page is iGoogle and one of the gadgets is BBC News but in that gadget window is the tab with Top Stories, it’s here where it is continually stuck on Loading Top Stories.

Google maps, when moving pegman to a street view location nothing happens.

Using IE10, a tab sometimes shows waiting although it’s site appears to be working okay.

I’ve tried the usual things, disabled the add-ons and Adblock etc. My wife’s laptop has identical software on her laptop and there is no problem, plus I have compared all the Internet Options settings between our 2 laptops and they are the same.

Any ideas please?

Try deleting your browser history,
Gear symbol on the top right and Safety/ Delete browser history,
When the page appears Uncheck the top box and click on Delete.
You can Uncheck the third from the top cookies box.
Close ie10 and re-open.

The best most accurate way to check Internet options settings is to go to Advanced and click on Restore advanced settings,
Security section Restore all zones to default/ Apply and Okay.
If more than one user account is on this machine use System cleanup.

I have done exactly as said and no change unfortunately!

Remmember that ALL the Internet Options settings are exactly the same as my wifes laptop which doesn't have this problem.

Have her access her home page on your computer to see if it functions properly.

When was the last time you shut down your machine ?

My home page on wife's machine working perfect as is google maps.
Last shut down 10 hours ago.
Have done all as suggested, no change!

Sign out and sign back in,
If that doesn't work remove the module and read it,
If all else fails clear the cache go back to delete browser history check all of the boxes except the very top box and Form data/ Delete.
Export Favorites to html file before resetting Internet explorer/ just to be safe.

I have done everything but still not working.
I thought I would uninstall IE10 which usually takes me back to IE9, I have done this before for other issues, however it didn't go back to IE9, in fact I had no IE of any sort, blank screen with these error meassages. System restore got me up and running again but I would love to try IE9 again to see if the problem still exists. I have uploaded the error messages for you to peruse please.

Hold the Windows logo key down and press the R key,
Type in the Run box,
iexplore.exe

That should open Internet explorer on 9,
Once it does Right click it on your Taskbar and Pin to Taskbar.
You can also use the Start menu search,
Click the Start button and type,
internet explorer
Right click on the suggestion Pin to Taskbar.

I have tried what you suggested but it doesn't take me back to IE9, just opens IE10 again.

When I put in 'iexplore.exe' I get an error message and when I put in 'internet explorer' I get ie10
Which should I be typing in, 'iexplore.exe' or 'internet explorer'?

I am wondering whether I could do a Win7 repair to get back the lost ie9

It sounds like your using the start menu search and not the Run box,
Start menu search you can use either term/ iexplore.exe or internet explorer,

The Run box is different,

I'm definately using the Run box.

If you drop the ('......') it should work,

You can copy and paste this entire string in the Run box,
"C:\Program Files\Internet Explorer\iexplore.exe"

If you recall I am trying to get rid of the 'waiting' that sometimes shows in tabs despite the webpages apparently fully loading and also trying to get Google maps Street View to work, plus the iGoogle BBC News gadget is continually stuck on ‘Loading Top Stories’.

I tried to use the Windows 7 disc repair facility but I was unable to uninstall the Service Pack update.

Instead I thought I would uninstall IE10 again and reinstall to see if that would get rid of these problems, as usual after uninstalling IE10 it did not roll back to IE9, I again got the error window ‘Class not registered’.

Success 2 out of 3, after uninstalling and reinstalling IE10 the ‘waiting’ has gone and Google street view works but it is still on stuck on ‘Loading Top Stories’.

Regarding ‘Loading Top Stories’, it’s almost like there should be a box somewhere that should be checked or unchecked.
