What is the basic security setting to note and check to that it hadn't been change t ensure that the computer security have not been jeopardized.

Example, anti virus have not been changed , firewall is turn on, network setting have not been changed etc.

First place to look is the Acton Center. It has a quick access from the flag in the lower right corner of your screen. (Notification Icons)

Right click the flag and select Action Center.
