Hey, so i found myself with oooodles of songs that have no name or are named automatically with "DHSJ, DHEJ.... so on and so fourth"

I was curious as to if there was an easy way of automatically finding song names and changing them or if I am stuck "shazamming" all the songs

If one can recognize some of the lyrics the file name can be changed and the Properties of the song can be edited. I've heard of a device in the music industry for identifying songs when played to either know when RIAA can bill for when businesses play them or for checking for plagiarism but haven't found any information on it.

I have no idea how well any of these work.

My guess would be that they are clunky, limited, frustrating, and inaccurate. I've got maybe 15 songs out of 25,000 that I can't ID either, but I haven't tried any of these. I'd expect they might be able to ID your average Michael Jackson or Beatles song, but not so useful for Sonny Fisher or Crown Prince Waterford.

I'd love to be proven wrong, so test them and report back.
