Sound and speaker problem

Hi,

Normally there will be no more sound from the speaker, when i inserted my earphone or headphone into the computer.

Now even after i inserted there still sound from the speaker. How can i set it so there will be no more sound after earphone is inserted?

The RealTek control panel should have the options for what the rear speaker jack does (either mute or not when the front headphone is connected).

You can access the Realtek panel from Start/Control Panel/Hardware and Sound.
