sound card louder?

Hi, will a sound card , a pretty good one $50. (creative or asus, etc) make your computer (speakers) louder? thanks

Windows has a loudness feature, on some machines.
Check your default speaker properties and look for enhancements.
Some sound cards have sound boosting, controlled by the software.
