Sound does not work since updated to win7

I had updated to windows 7 ultimate a week ago. I went to play some music, and no audio. i have tried everything. The drivers downloaded but and said they were working but nothing. I am really frustrated with this problem. PLEASE PLEASE HELP. THanks in advanced,

Sorry my systeme and sound system specs are:
running on win7(obviously)
using soundman S-20 speakers, logitech
Using a lenovo 3000 j series
using win7 ultimate
win7 was pirated
