Sound Levels Constantly Changing on their own

Ok, I need a little help here. Lately, I have noticed that my sound levels in my Volume Mixer keep lowering to the lowest level.
I have an ASUS Rampage II Extreme MOBO that came with a Creative Sound Blaster X-Fi MB PCI-E Sound card.

The problem is, when I'm in a game or anything else, my "Applications" in the Volume Mixer most of them all go to the bottom. I can't get them to stay up top=loud. I have gone to the Control Panel>>Sound>>Communications and changed that to do nothing. (It basically says, windows can automatically adjust the volume of different sounds when you are using your PC to place or receive telephone calls.)

I am using a Logitech G930 and their software. I do believe it is some sort of software issue that is taking control of my audio, but not sure what.

Has anyone else experienced this issue?
Does anyone have a fix?

It bothers me cause when I am in a game, the game sound goes way down automatically and in the game settings, it is on High. I use Teamspeak a lot and have checked those settings and eveything seems to be fine.

Hi,

I had this problem once : in my case I didn't reliase that my webcam also had a microphone on it, and I spent days trying to adjust the microphone on the headset, only to realise the mic on the webcam had somehow become active.

Any chance you have a similar issue?

This could be very possible...I already turned off anything on there that automatically adjusts my volume. But, I am not sure if that was the culprit..I also turned off my skype as well..I'll still play around and let you know, but for now, I'm clueless...

I actually think it's TeamSpeak that might be causing the issue...seems like when someone talks, all my other sound levels go down...

Hi, I've been looking for this problem too.. And I found out it is my TeamSpeak as well. At least for me. IT was SO easy too... (Kinda feel stupid) but Go to Settings>Plugins>Volume Control and theres actually a plugin that lowers the volume for you. Hopes it fixes your problem as well as it did for me!
