Solved Sound only works with some videos.

Hi - I have recenlty noticed that I can't get sound from some videos, but I can from other videos. The ones I can't, I used to be able to get sound from them and now I can't. I am not sure what is diifferent about the ones I can vs. the ones I can't. I have a Toshiba Laptop. The first link below I can hear the audio but I can't in the second link. Please help.

You mean the charts to the right? No.

No I mean the video that pops up - this is the Youtube original which may behave differently.

No. That's the problem. I can't hear ANY Youtube videos.

I am using Google Chrome if that helps.

Ahhhhaa. I can hear using IE. So how do I "adjust" Chrome?

Hmm, I am not much of a Chrome expert. There is nothing in the settings I can see. It works in my Chrome and that is a vanilla installation. Did you alter anything in Chrome.

No. Where would I check in Chrome?

Go to Settings. On the left top there are "Extensions". See whether you have an extension that may block it. The only extension I have is "Google Docs".

I have 4 extensions
1) Ask Toolbar
2) McAfee Security Scan
3) Skype Click to Call
4) Vosteran New tab - which I would like to get rid of, How do I do that? I uninstalled the program yet this tab shows up when I open Chrome?

Ok, I deleted the extension, but the vosteran tab still comes up when I open Chrome.

I fixed it in settings under tab opening.

I thought it was fixed, but it was not. Today, can't get sound out of you tube videos. Sometimes a pop up will come on downloading a flash player and I don't know where it comes from so I delete it. Chrome updates to the latest flash version automatically. I tried right clicking on the video but I don't get the options I am supposed to to fix it. Please help.
