Hello, I am having issues with my sound. My sound was working fine, then one time after starting it up I noticed the sound on youtube wasnt working, I then found out this was only on youtube, on Google chrome only. Then I found out that half my games sound wasnt working, but others work fine. After even more looking around, I noticed if I watch live streams on youtube, the sound works fine, but not for the regular uploads.

You tube uses Flash player. There have been many instances of a corrupt flash player not playing audio or playing properly.

Games use varying methods for sound. Some are wav files, some are MIDI files, etc.

Suggest you reinstall the Flash Player and also reinstall the RealTek sound drivers, as a start.

Also, please post a screen shot of the Device Manager, Sound section.

And just for turds and giggles... download the latest audio drivers from Realtek (R2.75 I think it is) and install a fresh copy of it. Throw in a fresh copy of your video drivers while you are at it, why not.

I have the latest flash player and Realtek Audio Drivers, although i noticed my Dolby Home Theater cannot start, which might be related. And also, in youtube, the live stream sound works, although the regular videos sound does not, which is really weird.
