Hi,

I read a lot about sound and the pc getting asleep. However my problem can not be found. Hope anyone of you recognize my problem and could be of any help:

The pc is set up to NON-Energiesave. THis means I have set up all possible components to keep alive, not sleep.

For my flightsimulator, I have setup several sound systems. These soundsystems must all be standby for immediate sound. E.g. call outs in a landingsituation. When the sound has to respons, I noticed that the sound that has to start up is missing about 1 second of the sound. I have looked around for hours also in the Bios. I cant find any sound related functions that cause it to go a sleep.

So does anyone can tell me where I have to look or check to keep de soundoutput ALWAYS to ON

Thank you very much. Hope this will have a solution.

Best regards,
Ed

Does this happen with ANY sound from the PC or ONLY with the Flight Simulator program?

Hi

It seems to be a behaviour of the onboard sound. What I have done now is having an enpty made wav file, continuous playing. Until now, this solve the problem it seems.

Thanks and regards,
Ed
