Sometimes after about 20 minutes of running the pc starts to degrade it's performance. I notice that when opening and closing web browsers the mouse will start to drag really slowly for a few seconds, and sometimes switching between other windows causes it as well.
Sometimes it does not happen at all, but it almost always happens after about 20 minutes of watching a video or playing a game (any game or video). I notice that the frame rate starts to drop, some crackling sounds start to develop (coming form the speakers - this stops when muted) and the sound also starts to make other strange, bottley or tinny noises. If I close the game/ video or minimise it and switch windows the mouse drags again almost to the point of freezing, although the mouse drags a little bit in the video or game when all this starts as well (it's often the first sign so I know it's starting). I then have to close everything down and restart the computer.
This is the weirdest bit though. It must be a restart and it must be once the problem has started. If I shutdown and turn on again it has a chance of doing it again as it's a brand new bootup like before, if I restart it once it boots up it runs fine however long it's on until I shutdown again. If I restart after turning on the pc before the problem happens, then upon booting up it still has the chance of doing it. I have to wait for it to kick in, if it kicks in, before rebooting.
If I don't reboot soon enough it blue screens, and sometimes (very rarely but it just happened) it will blue screen after i click restart.
I have tried so many forms of diagnostics in the past but honestly it's probably better for you guys to check out the file at this point and I can let you know what i have tried afterwards. I say this because i did a complete reinstall a few months ago to try and fix it, which didn't, so i have only slowly been adding games and apps back to it since. this means this time around the pc is probably in the best state to try and figure the issue out.
