space of system drive continues to drop and I don't know why!!

I thought I was using too much youtube or a lot of cache there but I WAS WRONG. My system drive (running win 7 ) often runs out of space, reaching 0KB as shown under "my computer" and I've got a lot of notice about free up space. But in fact, I 've cleaned all caches and temporarily files under different browsers and clean disks. I don't know why. My space is still dropping continuously. 15 minutes ago I deleted my final 3GB of audio files stored on my system drive. It was 3.84GB free on system drive, but now. 15 minutes after, the space now is 2.49GB!!!!!! What's happening??? I am only downloading files by JDownloader to my "portable drives" AND NEVER NEVER the system drive. OK, get back to the settings, just a few MB of cache and temporarily files. What happens in the last 15 min eating up my space?

It's not the first time. Such situation often , often happens until I reboot. But after some days, it happens again. Very very much frustrated

And now , after 30 min, the free space on the system drive becomes 1.54GB. On clean disk, no temporarily space is taken up. All broswering cache and history cleaned. What happen to my computer!!

hi, verylikely to be paging file because I know all about uninstall programs and deleting temp files stuff. i' ll try it and report

I've just tried. Turn off the paging size. But after rebooting the system, only 100MB is left.
but not long before I have free up at least approx 3.84GB space from system drive.
I can't imagine where the space is eaten. Cache, browsing history, temp files are all cleaned before asking the question.

Did you do a scan for malware and virus?

Did Option 1 for the WinDirStat program help to ID what's using so much hard drive space?

checked with the recommended malware detector above. Only 8 malware is found and 4 of them are OpenCandy, 2 of them are from thunder (which is a proved safe download program). I don't think there is something harmful here.

But my question is again, where is the 3.8GB space gone? I am now having 0KB on system drive again...

updated omg! what happened! 5.6GB free space comes up again IN A SECOND! I did nothing! only soon after installing CClean, NOT even start the checking/scanning...

Anything found can be and most likely is harmful. Did you get them removed?

Have you tried to perform these checks from within Safe Mode? If it's something connected to the internet then that will surely stave off the attack, if it is an attack.
