Speed up FTP?

I tried using Windows Explorer for FTP instead of filezilla, and filezilla is so much faster. Is there any way to speed up the transfer and read speed in explorer?

Michael, Inherently the HTTP transfer is slower than ftp. Not much you can do to speed up the browser transfer speeds.
