Spell Checking when sending email

I'm new to Windows 7 and am experiencing something new when trying to send an email. I have to option checked to "always check spelling before sending mail" but when I try and send, I get a pop-up window which states "Spell checking canceled. Do you still want to send mail?"
Any suggestions for this newbe? Thanks in advance!

That is correct. If you try to send with "always spell check" enabled it will prompt you. Which would you rather do? not spell check all the time and remember to do it, or spell check every document or cancel the popup?

It probably means it found misspelled words and you can either change them or send as is. It finds but does not change them for you.
