I don't know if this is the right spot to post this but every time I go to play any of my newer games it either says "Spooge driver not found. Verify DirectX is properly installed" or it freezes when it goes to load the game and the only way for it to unfreeze is by unplugging it.

Anyway I'm hoping someone here has answers because I didn't get any help from "Steam" when I told them two of the games don't work but my computer meets all the requirements.

Have you verified that direct x is installed properly? Might sound a bit contradicting but simplest answers seem to be the best, I have another fix related to the GPU drivers to dirty fix this issue.

Direct x comes installed built in to windows 7. So there is no way to verify its installed properly. Other then sfc /scannow.

@Jasha
Have you tried running dxdiag under the run command to see if it detects any problems?

Have you tried updating your graphics card driver?
