Hello. I have this laptop for 9 months.About a month ago when I tried to start the laptop, it failed to start. Interesting thing is that the power button has a blue light that informs when the boot is in progress. And so when I press the button light turns on, but after a few seconds goes off as it should do if the boot fails. But if there are several attempts and I hit a little the laptop underneath, blue light will stay on but the starting process fails. If I disconnect the main battery and redo the hole process the computer finally starts. Beside that in the process of starting after I press the power button the cooler starts to work too. But just like the blue light, it stops when start up process fail. But when the light remains lit the cooler continue to work at a lower level. I know it's bad and that i need to pay a visit to repair shop. But i'm asking here because maybe someone has some ideas on what it could be. So i could make some ideas on how much would it cost. :geek:

Sounds like something is loose inside. If you knock it from below or if you take the battery out (where you turn it upside down), the loose piece seems to fall into place.

I think you are right. A technician has to open it and see what the story is.

What you could try yourself is to reseat the Dimms and the HDD. But it may be another component.

Come on - it is no rocket science. Open the bays and jiggle the Dimms and the HDD a bit and see what happens. Maybe a pure visual inspection will show you whether there is a problem.

It could also be a dying battery.
Try removing the battery and connect only the power supply and see if it will start normally.
If it does, then it is time to replace the battery.

Yeah, the battery is dying. And i already tried without it. Anyway considering the others problems i have with this pc, i'm thinking in buying another better one.
