I really don't understand why those card are getting so hot, I have 2 120mm fans circulating air between the front and back of the case with a 80mm fan right in front of the 2 graphics cards and another 80mm fan circulating air from my hard drive. I also has a cooler master v8 for my cpu. This is one of the most ventilated cases i know of and i regularly clean out dust every month or so. There really is no reason for these cards to be getting this hot......
also after that full hour of testing at 108 degrees Celsius, my pc never failed....
There are lots of reasons that a PC can overheat above and beyond ventilation. For one if the PSU and partially failed and was outputting 12 VDC instead of 5, qnd 3.
If this is a new problem (and your system had worked before) you should probably check the output voltages (and current (amps)) to be sure.
