Thought I'd post an update. Been running Win7 x64 Pro since I posted Saturday and everything is running smooth.

Same here x64 7 runs like a champ now. I wish there was someone at Toshiba I could thank.

Sorry to hear that and I too know your pain. I've been waitin' since I got this thing in May. I'm just glad I checked Toshiba's site Friday night.

It may have been Sunday but I got an email from 7 forums right after you posted and off I went. My buddy was here and it was like everything just stopped. I clicked your link burn it to a disk and installed 7 x64 with out a single hitch. I think the only thing better was the the birth of my second daughter. JUST KIDDING. Man you people can't take jokes at all around here.... stiffs.
