Stop Monitor shutting down

My Screen keeps going to sleep, how can I stop it doing that please??

Some more information is needed before we can even try to help you:

1. When does it shut down? When you leave it alone? Or when you're doing things on the computer?
2. Does it go abruptly black, or does it fade out like the computer is sleeping?
3. Have you checked the temperatures from your graphics card recently with something like HWMonitor?
4. What is the model of the monitor (the exact model number?)
5. Does this happen with another monitor hooked up in its place? (borrow one from a friend if you can and try it out.)
6. Is your screensaver and power plan set to turn the monitor off after a specified interval? Perhaps that is malfunctioning, or it's happening because you've left the machine idle for a while.
7. When the screen goes off, does it come back if you hit the keyboard or move the mouse?

Try:
- Set Control Panel - Power options - Choose when to turn off the display - Never - Save changes
