I've dumped it in favor of Chrome. And when our season ends today , I'll dump Chrome. Just using these browsers to listen to the games and live media.

Works in ie11 as well,
Document mode 10
Ie11 and 10 share the same version of Shockwave player,

When you show me this screenshot showing live content being played under IE11 we can talk

Other than that you're simply not even trying to be helpful with the issue at hand :sarc:

Sorry you feel that way,
You might even need to switch User agent sting to ie10 as well to shake up ie and switch back to default as the screen shot shows,
You can right click the video player and click on settings and increase the storage.

Yeah that's not even IE11, it's some emulator. And I can't "revert" back to IE10 because I'm running Windows 8.1.

At any rate I say again, this is what the post is about....

I've a strange issue with Firefox.

Here's the deal. I have to use Firefox to listen to live streamed content from Giants.com - Giants.com | Gameday: Postgame because IE11 simply refuses to play live content there.

Anyway for some odd reason while using Firefox my sound suddenly cuts out and the only way to get it working again is to reboot. This strange issue happens nowhere but with Firefox. I've played games and listened to music for hours on end and this doesn't happen; I can listen to achieved content (not live) using IE11 all day long and it doesn't happen. This only happens when using Firefox

In fact it just happened now while typing this post and listening to the live post game show. So after I finish this post I have to reboot the system to get my sound back

Anyone seen this or know what's going on?

OK, before we go any further, I'm currently running Windows 8.1 on this machine, so while this should probably be posted in the eight forums, I was kind of hoping to get an answer here as to the issue.

With that, if you look at my system specs, you'll notice I have a SoundBlaster ZXR card, which while there are Win 8 drivers, there are no Win 8.1 drivers at this time. But to answer the question... yes I have the latest windows 8 drivers available.

All that said, as I've said in my original post - this ONLY happens with Firefox. Outside of that, I have NO sound issues. And if you read my post you'll note that I've stated I can listen to music, play games, or listen to achieved content using IE11 all day long and not lose my sound; the issue is strictly with Firefox
