I ran the software once - and pressed the button that is supposed to purge all the detected "Adware.Tracking cookie" and stuff like that, and so it should be all gone, but it runs everytime I reboot the computer and it is again showing 'how many items found' and increasing, so I'm not sure if it even works. If it purged all this already a few days ago, how does it show that I have so many things detected again?

What is your Primary security suite ?
Windows security essentials does provide real time protection as pebbly has recommended,
But superati....is very good but does not provide real time protection with it's free version it's basically a secondary scanner,
If you surf the same places everyday I wouldn't be surprised if super....finds the same cookies every time you scan with it.
If it starts looping it might need to be uninstalled and re-installed/ or simply Updated because I don't believe the free version Self updates.
Same goes for Malwarebytes free version.
