Solved Windows Update keeps running and running for hours...Clean Install SSD

Hello all...

Befuddling problem as I am pretty tech savvy but for whatever reason I can not get windows update to quite "checking" for update:

So far....

1) Downloaded SURT, ran fulling with no reported errors

2) Ran SFC with no reported errors

3) Get no windows update error codes...it just runs and runs and runs with no results

4) CBS.zip attached.

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Set the computer not to sleep.
Manually start the search for updates.
Leave the computer alone for 24 hours.

Thanks for the tip...Ive never had a clean install take so long to get the first updates but as you said, let it run a long time and sure enough...the updates started coming about 14 hours after manually starting the check for updates. Everything A OK now...
