One of my laptop pc's has been infected with superfish.
It's a nasty piece of ads/malware sh*t that won't go away.
I'm trying a restore to an earlier backup.

Almost any webpage was attacked with a (blocked by Eset) superfish webpage attempt.

But I found at least a removaltool from Lenovo, who has been sued for selling thousands of infected PC's with their crap.

Hope that it may help others, cause malwarescans didn't do the job.
The only one blocking superfish webpages, was Eset virusprotection.

Superfish may be installed with some addon in your browsers, but it's also part of some malicious software with unwanted "applications". It behaves like a virus.
It may be installed in programs and applications, but that wasn't so on my pc.
Superfish has more names. It's difficult to track them all down. Which for instance reg.seeker may help.
It's a visual application, that implants "trusted certificates" in the roots.
It's a clear spywaretool, that may even steal your encrypted information, or track anything you do, like banking.

SuperFish Uninstall Instructions - Lenovo Support (US)

Even Plazilla didn't found any entries.

Unfortunately superfish returned later this day.
However I found an entry in the register with regseeker.
It happened to be a reference to an IE Addon, with Superfish in the string, which I removed off course.
