Solved system boots only after 10 mins even after formatting

ok i press the power button.then after 2 3 secs comes starting windows with the rotating sign.after that the windows sign starts glowing bright and dark.right here.it just keeps on glowing bright and dark or 10 15 mins.and then comes welcome

Is all the components brand new, like RAM, video cards??

no about a year and 2 mnts old.i bought it all brand new.and bad luck the warranty just finished 2mnths ago

It should be a fault at either the HDD or RAM.
Download and burn the Ultimate Boot CD (Ultimate Boot CD - Overview) and run MemTest86+ for the ram, and any of the various hard drive diagnostic tools and make a analysis or post ur results here.

Alternatively, once ur computer is booted up, goto run - msconfig - go to the boot tab, then go to advanced options - check the number of processors box and select two from the drop down menu. This way, windows will use all available processors to start.

Also, remove any external devices attached to your computer and then start your windows. This means wireless devices, usb devices, lan cable etc.

If all above fails,
Open msconfig, select diagnostic startup, apply, ok and restart. If issue persists, it is a hardware problem. If this works, then we can blame any of the softwares.

how mny processes are u doin in task manger if its under 60 do a repair install or over 70 you have to many services on auto or just 2 many programs at start up

@dreams i just did every thing u told man.no good.but i found a temprory solution.that is the computer will just hang on the first boot then after i have to restart and itll work but i again have to wait 10 mins.it will start only after 10 mins

Mind telling us the no. of startup items and the snip of your task manager. This will enable us to see what is causing the problem.

ya sure i have no items in my start up except the anti virus.and the problems are just growing day by day.now my computer uses 1600 mb of ram even when im not using any thing on my computer.and the computer ran only in a classic theme.the win 98 theme and i cldnt change it so i restored my computer and the theme problem got solved.but more problems are occuring
