System crashes while playing games. Possible BSOD, but no display?

This is happening with many games. I recently got a new graphics card and I am worried that it is broken some how. Because I will be gaming and then my monitor will go to no signal, like the DVI has been removed. But it also seems the whole system crashes because I lose sound and my VoIP server. Pulling the DVI in and out does nothing and I have to force shutdown.

Here are my specs:
CPU: Intel Core i5 3570K 3.4GHz | GPU: Radeon HD 7970 Vortex 2| Mobo: Asus P8Z77-V LX | RAM: Corsair 8GB (2x4GB) DDR3 1600MHz

I'm on Windows 7 Home Premium 64bit.

I used the SF Diagnostic tool. The first 3 minidumps are from older BSOD's though. And I think the forth is too, possibly.

Uninstall Zone alarm.

Use Microsoft Security Essentials as your antivirus with windows inbuilt firewall, and free MBAM as the on demand scanner.

Download and install those, and then run full system scans with both of them, one by one.

Scan the system for possible virus infection.

Update display driver to the latest.

Let us know the results.

Thanks for the reply. Is that Zone alarm one from a BSOD? Because I uninstalled Zonealarm yesterday.

I will follow these steps now, but what do you mean use it as my 'on demand scanner'?

Also, what is the best way for me to update the drivers? Some people say I am best off using driver sweeper after uninstalling, then installing the new one. do you agree?

Zone alarm one is from the latest crash dump.

When you need to perform a system scan, use MBAM.

Driver sweeper I suggest sometimes. But for updating a driver it is not a must. For rolling back a driver to an earlier one, sweeper is must.

Okay thanks. I've installed the new driver but it said warnings occurred. I get this a lot. I got it with beta 4 too, even after uninstalling and using driver sweeper.

I've attached the reports, but nothing seems to show in the actual 'errors' section.

EDIT: Oh I've had this issue before. sometimes when I install the drivers it does not ask to restart afterwards, and on restart, catalyst won't open.

Can you post a screenshot of the warning?

There was no warning, just nothing happens when you try to open catalyst. I fixed it by uninstalling through 'add or remove' and using driver sweeper. I know have beta 7 installed and catalyst launches. Although the install says errors occurred again, it shows none though.

I did all your suggestions and sadly the issue is still present.

It happens during League of Legends, Torchlight 2, Walking Dead and Terraria at least.

I have redone the SF diagnostic, in case there is anything new.

Oh right, maybe it is not a blue screen? I don't know. Seems like this will be very difficult to diagnose.
