Solved System Crashing and not booting up with External Mouse & Keyboard

My Windows 7 was unable to boot three times.I was asked to ran Windows Diagnostic Tool.So,i did and nothing happened.A loud beep sound started coming and the system froze.Then System repair opened up and it fixed the issue 2 times.But the third time when the crash happened,System Repair could not fix the issue.System Repair suggested to unplug any external device that i had connected.So,i did and my Windows booted.I want to use my external mouse and keyboard because i play games.How do i fix this problem....

Are they wireless? If so, what make and model number?

Have you checked to see if there are updated drivers for them?

No they are wired Mouse and keyboard.I had bought these some time ago and they did not needed any software installation at the time.One more thing,i just checked my Windows Updates & It says "No Important updates available".But just down below ,there is a small message saying "7 optional updates available".Now,i wonder if installing these would help.This is how it looks...

Are they USB or PS2 style mouse and keyboard.

Yes,they both are a USB style device....i read somewhere to switch booth devices from BIOS.Will it be safe to to do...

Usually beeps like that indicate a hardware failure/issue.

However, if you can still boot into Windows, right click on the main hard drive, select properties, then go to the Tools tab and click Check Disk. Select both the boxes and run it. It won't run because it can't perform a disk check on your main drive when you're currently using it. So, select to have it run the next time Windows starts up and then reboot the machine. It should then go into the Disk Check mode to find any corruptions and hopefully repair them.

Once that's done, boot into Windows, launch an elevated command prompt and type "sfc /scannow" and let that run.

Ignore the part that says DO NOT uninstall your mouse if you are using a USB mouse, go ahead and uninstall them as well.

@ FliGi7 I ran the check disk but i unchecked both boxes as i am hesitant/reluctant to do so.I received the following message ...

Checking those boxes just allows it to fix whatever problems it finds. There's no reason to be hesitant to check either of the boxes. Regardless, it doesn't appear any problems were found so it doesn't matter for this issue.

Did you run "sfc /scannow" from an elevated command prompt?

Hi,

sfc = system file checker

It will check for any corrupted system files, and repair them if possible.

Thank u all of u.I have choose not to use my external mouse and keyboard during boot.I know , this isn't a proper fix but i do not want to try anything else and cause an other problem....i appreciate everyone for their suggestions...thanx...
