OK, this is probably a dumb question, but how do you make HDD a boot drive after installing Windows 7 on it. Here is the situation.
I was running XP, which booted off my Maxtor IDE HDD. I bought Windows 7 upgrade and installed it (64 bit) on my new WD Caviar SATA HDD. That all worked great, as long as I keep my old Maxtor drive attached, which I don't want as it is annoyingly LOUD. How do I get my new drive to be the bootable system disk?
