System Image Backup Strategies/Thoughts

I'll definitely check that out. I "must" have incrementals for data as I like to be able to depend on that if I screw something up. The more versions the better. I don't really screw up that often, but I feel much more comfortable knowing I have backups, as I also know how easy it is to screw something up and not realize it until much later (if not paying close attention).

I also find it useful to turn on System Protection for data partitions. Previous Versions is very useful for recovering from just such screw ups.

+ 1 for FreeFileSync, it's an amazing file backup tool. Another program I use on a daily basis.

I also keep the System Protection feature turned on for my Data drive, very handy. Pity Microsoft have removed it from Windows 8 as it's saved me some files I've changed/deleted in the past.
