Since the 3rd of March, i have been unable to start my pc. I get the system recovery, which when it says its repaired, will just loop when it reboots. I can get back into my PC by using different recovery options each time (such as restoring to a previous date, last good configuration etc). And this has been happening while i have been trying to download a game off Steam. It first successfully downloaded, and after i shut my pc down. When i started it back up, i had to restore to the last known good configuration (after trying multiple solutions suggested on forums for 2 hours), which partially uninstalled the game. I then managed to redownload the game, shutdown my pc, then when i came back to the pc and started it, i had to recover again, loosing the entire game (7gb, which is about 3-5 hour download due to my ISP). That was 4 hours ago. Now, i have had the PC on continually while downloading everything that was removed due to the recovery, and im looking for solutions, and trying to find the cause. I dont want to shutdown, incase i have to restore again, and loose more data.
I have tried multiple solutions like running diagnostics, checking for corrupt files etc, but cant seem to find the problem.
*edit* i have previously had this problem after installing a driver, but i could easily find out what was causing it. With the current problem, there has been absolutely no solution. I do have the feeling that it is my GPU, as i have been having rare BSOD's related to the GPU. But im not sure.
