Hi all

I brought the machine about a year ago, put 7 on it, and never had to do a System Restore until about a month ago.

After a month of twiddling around, it keeps happening every time I try one.

I apologise that I have not got a copy of exactly what the message is.

It (no surprises here) tells me that there were errors, and that nothing has changed.

As a result my PC is getting less and less like I want it (because I can't annihilate slip-ups by restoring past them).

I done the disk clean up method (where you get rid of all the restore points) many times; to no avail.

Please help me.

Best

Hi AD,
If the errors are Windows related, an upgrade install ran within Windows will help. If the errors are caused by what you installed, a clean install is the best option.
Getting a free or paid backup program is miles better than System Restore.
