System restore, I cant restore my computer with a windows 7 disc

I am trying to completely wipe my computer clean by using the windows 7 disc. Problem is i cant get the disc to boot on star up.

Where did you get "the windows 7 disc" ?
Maybe it is a bad disc ?
Is your BIOS setup to boot from the optical disc as the first device ?

You do need a valid genuine readable COA key for your licensed version.

Is this an OEM PC such as HP, Dell, Gateway, Lenovo, ... , or a custom/home built ?
Did your PC come with Ultimate pre-installed ?

Hi Pbmaster2k89,

It could be an issue with the disc or the drive. You can create a USB drive as well for reinstalling windows.
