System Specifications

Hi folks,

Just out of curiosity, what is the lowest-spec system anyone has managed to install W7 beta build 7000 on, and what has been your experience? By lowest-spec, I mean lower than the following:

Minimum recommended specs call for:

• 1 GHz 32-bit or 64-bit processor
• 1 GB of system memory
• 16 GB of available disk space
• Support for DirectX 9 graphics with 128 MB memory (to enable the Aero theme)
• DVD-R/W Drive
• Internet access (to download the Beta and get updates)

I'm sure it's not the lowest possible, but here goes:

ASUS EEE-PC 4G
Celeron M 353 @ 630Mhz
512MB RAM
4GB SSD
i915GM 8MB VRAM (Support for DirectX 9 yes, but no WDDM drivers, hence no Aero)
vlited Build 7000

Well, it works...
Feels pretty much the same as XP did.
Bottleneck here is definitely the small SSD. (But to be fair, even my XP installs managed to fill that up^^)
