Hi, I'm looking for a system temp monitoring software like Aida64 that has sensor icons in the system tray. Aida64 is a nice software but it's overkill for me as I just need to monitor my computer temp. If anybody know software that suits my need , please let me know. Thanks. PS; I tried CPUID but don't like it because its sensor icon is do damn ugly. No color.

What about for mirrored drives?

Not trying to hijack this thread, but looking for the same thing the original poster is - except I have a 3-drive system with a C holding the OS and program files, and D and F mirrored together in a RAID configuration using a program called MirrorFolder.

SpeedFan was great when I was unmirrored, but it results in a BSOD with mirroring. Or it did anyway in XP, and I doubt it's changed to handle mirroring in 7.

Any recommendations for my situation?

As I said earlyier in my post, CPUID's sensor icon are so damn ugly, colorless.... The other 2 softwaredon't have any sensor icon in the system tray like Aida64. Thanks for your list.
Excuse me? Both Core temp and real temp have a system tray icon.

Are there any of these type apps that could possibly work on an older P-4? I assume it depends on whether the system supports such a thing but I don't know for sure. I've always wanted an app that would give me the numerical temp of CPU in the systray but haven't found one yet.

Speedfan works fine with Windows 7 and mirrored drives. It is just unable to read their temp.

It also has a system tray icon.
