I have a windows 7 Home Premium Dell tower that has run really good for the last few years, only recently I took it from our basement family room and put it in the livingroom via hdmi to a tv set.

Each time I turn the tv on the computer tells me my display settings have changed asking if I want to restart (annoying but i just hit no), love to figure out how to stop that from happening daily, only happens when i turn the tv on, during use it's fine but if I turn the tv off and back on it happens again, that never happened previously before connecting to a tv, previously it was hooked up via a computer monitor and same hdmi port.

Then today when I turned the tv on to use the computer which runs 24/7, it was at the sign in screen and said your computer restarted due to an error. I used the tool here and have attached the dm file in hopes you guys can give me some insight on what to check or do next to resolve this.

Things I have done already, chkdsk (found no problems), sfc/ scannow (found no violations), Malwarebytes (just a browser extension it didn't like, removed), confirmed drivers are up to date using a program called driverbooster 5 free version, then I grabbed the dm log program did that and came to ask what to check or do next :)

Thanks for any help on this.

Please remove these programs before troubleshooting.

Code:
Start Menu\Programs\Driver Booster 5	Public:Start Menu\Programs\Driver Booster 5	Public

If you installed any drivers with either of these programs, use a system restore point or system backup. If neither are available and you don't want to go for a clean install,
- if you don't know what drivers were installed, check if these programs have logs of driver installations, if requested I can spit the logs for you to find out
- if you do know, go into device manager and revert the drivers.

Ok I uninstalled driverbooster 5, but I didn't see anywhere within it as to what drivers it updated, it's been installed on the computer for quite some time, i do recall in the past it updated drivers for my eithernet and video card, so I can go in and manually roll those back and restart, once I do that should I do another DM log?

Another zip would only be requested if new BSODs occur :)

Gotcha, thanks for the reply here, is it ok to update the driver via the device manager? My catylst control center keeps erroring out after a restart now since I rolled back the drivers from 2015 to 2011.

Yes, but it's not recommended. You will mostly get the message that there are no updates.
