Hi, apologise if this has been asked again, I just cant seem to find it.

Anywho as the thread title says is it possible to add/have exceptions to the grouping of tasks? For e.g. say I wanted everything grouped (2x firefox, 2x notepad, etc) but I didnt want my word documents to be grouped, is that possible? both "options" at the same time?

Hi there, thanks for the reply. Had a look at the links you gave and came across something about Application ID in the windows 7 taskbar APIs link.

"Alternatively, if you set the application ID of two individual windows (within the same process) to different values, two taskbar buttons will be created, one for each window."

Now Im not really a computer person and those lines of code and overall discussion really got me confused. Anyone able to simplify it for me please? or even better a quick guide or somert :)

Thanks
