Taskbar icon's missing?

Hey guy's, my icon's have gone missing from the bottom right of the taskbar? there not under the arrow icon either.

Does anyone know how i can get them back?

Why do i have to download them though ? How did they even go missing

It's quite likely your icon cache became corrupted.

Tip on how to rebuild it here: Corrupt icon in windows 7
