Hi All

When I activate the “Show hidden icons” button on the taskbar the pop up menu appears. However, when I move the cursor to activate any one of the icons the pop-up menu then disappears.

Has anyone experienced a similar problem before & resolved the issue?

NB. I cannot use SFC Scannow, as it would destroy many of my bespoke settings!

Thanks in advance for any helpful info!

Ich

Hi Brink

Thanks for getting back so quick!

Unfortunately this problem is unrelated to your solution. This could have been caused by the taskbar icon cache been made corrupt at a certain point in time, I don’t know.

To make this a bit easier to understand if I have an app running with its icon in the default l/h/s of the taskbar and I move the mouse over the icon as you are aware a minature window appears of the app, however when I move the mouse to click on the app image it disappears in the same way as the “show hidden icons”pop-up does. The ironic thing is if you keep the l/h mouse button on you can negotiate to the pop-up & app image without a problem!

Looks like I’m going to have to live with it.

Anyway once again thanks for your quick response.

Ich.
