taskbar window preview somehow changed to text

NOTE:i am running eyefinity - i am running at a resolution of 5760x1080 and notice that the mouse over preview on aplications pinned to the task bar have changed to text. this problem has been going ov for some time. when i change my resolution back to 1920x1080 (16x9) it works just fine. i am using the aero theme so that should not be the problem. i think that my computer thinks i have less ram than i do. i have 10 gb of ram, soon 16, and i am only using 30pct if im not doing somthing grphics intense. so why is it happining? any ideas?

I was going to say you probably have Aero off, but you don't. However, when you're running at that very high resolution, it could be disabling certain Aero features automatically (for whatever reason).

When you're at the max. resolution, does the Aero window switcher thing still work (Win + Tab)?

idk what to think, i want to say that mabe its because of eyefinity, but eyefinity only makes windows think that my 3 monitors+ are 1 monitor, no special drivers, comes with the card and ccc, so i wanna say that mabe with me running things like sql in the background and stuff, mabe windows feels i have less ram than i actualy do and is disabling graphics intense features to save power, problem is, i dont need, or want to. i know for a fact my computer could handel it, so why isnt it working is the next question? if anyone knows why this might be happening, please speak up!

Hello Thornton, Aero is handled through your graphics card, eyefinity, not RAM. Do you have your monitors enabled as Extended?

truth betold i dont entirly know what you mean, i think i would have in an older driver version or an older ccc, but i have the latest updats, and i just go to "AMD Eyefinity Multi-Display" and then create a 3x1 group
