That is a really interesting article. They left me with a question though. I wonder how much of that performance gain is because of the 3 channels of memory from the 1366 socket I7 as opposed the just shear volume of memory available.

I wonder if my 1156 socket I7 with 8gb or ddr3 would perform as well in their tests as the 1366 socket I7 with 6gb or ddr3.
