Text color has changed from black to blue in forum posts.

The posts in a forum I read uses black text. For some reason this text is now blue, which makes it hard to read. The text is still black on other computers. Need help to change it back.

why are you still using IE8 for, you need to upgrade to at least IE10

Actually, they have IE11 for Windows 7 already (11.0.9600.17041).

My DW doesn't like the changes made in 9, 10, and 11 (this is my wife's computer). I need to fix this!

I just installed IE 11. Same problem, blue. Any ideas out there?

Hello Ron,

You might see if using compatibility view for the website in Internet Explorer may help any.

If not, then you might see if manually changing the color of "Text" to black may.

Hi Brink,

Compatibility view doesn't fix it. I have tried your suggestion in Internet Options. The only way it works is to check "ignore colors specified on webpages". This knocks out some of the web content. Thanks for the suggestions.

If this is only happening at that site, then you might see if they have an option to use another skin, and/or contact the administrator of that site to see if they may know what the issue could be if it's something on their end.

Other sites appear to have a dark blue text (not black). This site has a lighter blue text. My other computers have black text on the same sites. Just to be sure I have emailed the site administrator. I will post the reply.
